An interesting read, again. The plot seems to be getting thicker and thicker all the time, ha! Now for a few spags. "I didn't know who else to come to[o].
"Not really. It was [my] one of my neighbors.

Thank you for the kind review.

It's funny, a private detective doing what a police enquiry should have done, no wonder it's suspicious concerning Megan's death. It's a good thing they've got a police insider helping them in Bill. It's actually hard to believe it's only six days. Mackenzie's not as tough as she thinks she is. Well done Barbara, blessings, Roy
Typo : "No, (he'd) dead," he's?

Though not so important or contributory to the main theme, you have successfully handled and made it important and linked to the prime; taletelling and characters are realistic but dialogues are the life blood of this work; well said, well done.

Hello Barb ( barbara.wilkey)
I smile at the way you draw a reader into reading about the investigation who murdered Megan. I hope to see a romance develop between McKenzie and Logan??

Hi Barbara, I really like this story where they trying to find his sister's killer. I really like the dialogue going on between the two of them and the hint of a budging romance. All best. Ulla:)))

This is another interesting chapter in your book about investigating his sisters murderer and his help from the private investigator. Seems like they have an interesting relationship going on and you leave the reader wanting to know more, especially about the man in the police department as a possible suspect.
