So that little red beast has met her match, lol. The chapter is a very well-written, interesting start to finish. Your characters and their dialogue seems believable realistic, they pulled me right in. This is coming from someone who doesn't normally like fantasy. You won me over, great job.

I enjoyed another chapter of your story. It's different. I think I should of started from the beginning. How many chapters have you written so far? Keep writing. I would like to see where this goes. (I may want to go back to where you started the first chapter as well.)

So the pink one is in charge and can keep the red one from flaming and make it behave. She seems to think Aaron has done a good job caring for the hatchlings.

Thanks. I almost fed that red one to the king, but she's so popular. She turned out to be a favorite! I was surprised. Now I have to figure out what to do with her.

This was a very enjoyable read. The conversation/dialogue seemed extremely comprehensible and to the point. I think it reminded me of the newly hatched dragons in other fantasy books I have read, but the idea that dragons hatch already able to communicate as well as the pink dragon did was ably explained. And the mystery of gender seems to be on the way to resolution. Really had no areas of improvement here. I guess this is exposition in explaining more about dragons and their characteristics for now.
