This is well penned and a thoroughly engaging read. You use imagery to your advantage allowing you to paint a vivid picture in a few well chosen words. I love the little red dragon :) quite the feisty and intriguing little character. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

Thanks. I thought I knew what to do with that little red monster, but it turns out she has more fans than I do. LOL

LOL! She deserves them :) she is a feisty little doll.

The red dragon is quite a handful. A dragon with a bad attitude, wonderful. It would've been nice if they were all as pleasant as the water dragon and the last one. The chapter is well-written, interesting moves your story along nicely, great job.

Thanks. Some of the dragons have to be feisty, or it would be a dull story! I want the reader to wonder what will hatch next. People would get bored if they were all sweet and friendly.

True. Where's the challenge in docile dragons? In my years of caring for furry babies it seems the ornery ones are the ones I remember most. Squeaky wheel theory.

At least some dragons, like the red one, are dangerous, so it's no surprise the kingdom doesn't want them around. Why would Aaron break the law and risk trouble to save the little monster? He should report finding them. He doesn't need any trouble at his age. :)

If Aaron did that, what happens to my story? I can't imagine my readers want recipes for dragon a la king. LOL Aaron needs to be a bit of a rebel, or all I'd have is a cookbook!

LOL! You have a point. I just hope Aaron doesn't end up rotting in prison! :)

A few typos below... but on the whole this is cracking along marvellously well. Aaron is an attractive character; patient and kind, but also pragmatic. Really looking forward to seeing the pink egg hatch.

Thanks. Yep, some are a handful, but he's attached to them, even the little feisty one.

I've always liked science fantasy since I was young, and have read the popular ones like stories of Merlin, ranging from very happy ones and then this one, with a hero named Aaron, who seems to be baby dragon sitting, I enjoyed this imaginative story, living in two realities, things look very interesting for Aaron and his bevy of dragons, well done, blessings, Roy

Thanks. I wanted to keep it simple enough for a young teen to read. They won't research words. Glad you enjoyed.
