I can understand Mac's frustration. It must appear to her that her independence is rapidly being taken away from her. If Logan is a Special Ops man, it goes without saying that he can take care of both himself and Mac. But that's not the point she's trying to make. We'll have to wait and see what happens next. Excellent chapter. I like that Mac is willing to stand up to Bill and Logan when they aren't in favor of undertaking an undercover job playing poker with a suspected mob boss. Mac has her reservations, too, about Logan going on the undercover assignment. I have an idea that both Mac and Logan will get in on the poker game. Excellent work. Great characterization and you show the conflict Mac has with anyone who tries to tell her what to do. judi

A great chapter. I wonder if the person that Mitch is surveillance right now doesn't have something to do with the threats on Mac's life. Human trafficking is something that when someone gets close to the operation things happen to them. Also Mac is a very pretty girl, so who is to say they aren't the ones that drugged her to take and traffic her. I can understand Mac being upset. She always took care of herself and now she has men watching her to keep her safe. I look forwarded to the next chapter. I am intrigued about everything that is happening.

The school in the town I live in the kids go back on the 20th. My school the 27th. It's about normal, here. My granddaughter in Colorado goes back Aug. 8th. Thank you for the kind review.

Glad you agreed. Just saw JDBar a lady has niot posted for a while posting and I thought she might have had Noah and the Ark AFTER Sod9om and Gomorrah which is wrong. I mentioned a stupid movie made in Australia with John Voigt in it about Noah and the Ark that had Lot and the saved family from S and G visiting Noah and the ark in another boat ho hum! WRONG!
