Wow I'm impressed by your writing. Its full of wonder and innocence. With ABAB rhyming,u are trying to find your muse.
Its humorous that you've lost your muse in the first place. Did u look under the kitchen table? Are they trying to get away from you?
Good fun, here.

Thanks. It was a fun write. She was totally present for this one, like she wanted a poem about herself. For a while there I thought she'd tried to hide under the table or behind the couch and the cat got her. LOL Thanks fagain or the fun review.

Hey Cindy. I certainly enjoyed your poem about a muse. I liked the pace of the poem and the conflict in the mixed messages she gives you, except when she's drunk. Robert

These are very true words. I get very frustrated sometimes and decide never to write again then suddenly my muse comes up with something quite profound or hilatious and off I go again. Nice one. Best wishes. Jen.

Thanks. Yep, the muse can be unpredictable. I think they like to have a little fun with us in exchenge for the poetry. LOL

'My Mysterious Muse", is an exceptionally well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. To me, this is definitely a six. It was a privilege to both read and review a poem of this standard. I look forward to seeing your next post.

Thanks! I think that mysterious muse was totally present for this one, like she wanted a poem about herself. It didn't win, but I, or should I say we, came in second.

I guess you have a particularly elusive muse who chooses to inspire you on her own terms! Whispers here and there, now and then. But in the end, you will have captured enough of her whispered truths to get the job done. That's all that matters.

Thanks. Yes, we do seem to get the work done. She seemed to want this poem about herself in the contest, and in the end I, or should I say we, came in second.

I enjoyed reading this. I'm thinking our muses are twins! I didn't find any grammatical errors and I enjoyed the rhythm scheme. Good luck to you and your muse!!

Thanks. Yes, I think she wanted this poem about herself. I think I'll keep her around for a while, even if she's a bit unrelible at times,

So your muse is your inner motivation when it becomes energetic. That is basically how we all seem to be encouraged into our endeavours; yet there are those who are fortunate enough to have a real physical muse behind them, spurring them on. It appears your muse works well since you have produced a very good and artful poem, which I enjoyed reading.

I love this poem because it is so true. There are some great lines but i think my favorite line is "Sometimes I think my muse is drunk
Whispering naught but noise and junk." This is my favorite line because sometimes we get inspiration and we don't know what it means until it is flushed out. Good luck and excellent job.

Thanks for the six! I may have to get that little muse drunk more often. You never know what you can do with noise and junk. Thanks again.

This poem so beautifully depicts the plight of any artist who is desperate to create. It also shows the solitary dwelling of the writer in a way that is concise and deeply riveting.
