Hello w.j.
A year seems but a day, must be some fae magic in the passage of time.
But, at last, the story of Piper continues, and very well at that...
for Piper is all elf!
He has the magic of the flute, but he appears to lack other elf traits
like speed, strength.
A wonderful chapter for your book with suspense and surprise.
The dialogue is spot on and there is still the story Redd-Leif that he never
seems to be able to tell.
You haven't missed a beat.
Well done
Robert

Hi Robert,
Thank you for the generous review. Yes, a year is a long time, but the story has never left me alone. I am delighted that you liked this chapter, especially the suspense and surprise. I am glad to finally get it written and posted and have Piper on his way to the Faerie realm. I have missed being on the site and look forward to seeing your work more often. I am sure I have missed some great stories and poetry.

You did a great job writing this with engaging dialogue. It must be a very important revelation to Piper to learn his true identity although he still doesn't know who his father is. You have all the right ingredients of a good fantasy adventure.

I am still teary-eyed after reading your latest.

Hi old friend, sometimes I wonder where have all the others gone. But I do meet with one or two now and then. I still remember the story when you began it, but a bit dim now. The years have helped Aiken a lot of my memory.
I still like your story and will follow it .
God Bless.

Hi Benny Beeharry,
It is good to hear from you. I have been off of the site for about a year. One of those times when family and work matters took so much energy I had none left for writing. Hopefully, now I can be here on a regular basis.
I have looked around a little and it does appear some of the old regulars are not posting at present. I hope they will be back.
Thank you so much for remembering the story. It has been some time since I have posted a chapter so I'm not sure if those that were following it will come back or not. I am crossing my fingers that they will.
I appreciate your friendship and the time you have taken to read and review the story.

I guess it's rather a shocker to find out that everything you thought to be true was fabricated - poor Piper. This is very well written and a delightfully engaging read end to end. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

Hi Mystic Angel,
Yes, Piper is a bit overwhelmed with the information. He thought he was an orphan. Life is full of surprises.
Thank you for the excellent review and your encouraging comments. I appreciate you taking the time.

This is a very well crafted and easy to follow dialogue among your characters. The piece was quite easy to read and the line breaks add to this ease, so thank you so much and good success,

WJ,
Really interesting portion of your tale. I haven't been following faithfully, but I was able to pick up here and understand everything I was reading and catch on to the motivations and desires of the MCs. Nice work!
Only a couple of tiny notes:
1.) Silence passed between them for several moment(s) as they studied each other.
2.) But Lynx broke free of Redd-Leif's embrace and bound(ed) over to stand before Piper.
Thanks and good luck!

Hi Robyn,
Thank you for the encouraging review and for catching the SPAG. It seems no matter how many times I read my own work, I still miss something.
I appreciate you taking the time to read and give a thoughtful review.
