In my opinion, a beautifully articulated love poem, presented as artfully in both verse and imagery, and in perfect compliance with contest direction. I wish this talented writer best of luck in the contest...

You are so welcome, Diana, my pleasure - please excuse my typo - the word should have been "talented"...Eve

No worry! I type on a phone and often my fingers hit many letters I don?t intend to put!! I am for ever writing fir instead of for! LoL
-
Thank you for your understanding, Diana, and prompt reply, especially since I do proof everything I write and still manage to "goof." Your reason is far more legitimate, but I do feel vindicated, thanks to you...Eve

Nice use of word economy in this steamy 5-7-7, 3-line contest entry, Diana.
This could just as easily have been spoken by either of these two lovers, both male and female alike.
I especially liked the last line, "of sweet velvet caresses".
Very alluring and well worded.

Thanks my friend! It is truly a challenge to try to write in such a defined structure! You?d think I wrote the poem for the picture so you can imagine my excitement (no pun intended lol) when I found the picture :). I appreciate that you enjoyed this!

I like the artwork you choose to go with your poem they are a great match
Your words capture the loo in their face express their love for each other forever
boy I remember looking into my honey's eye that way many years ago.

Thank you dear friend! I could not believe that I found that picture to match so perfectly with my poem! It is quite a challenge to bring a complete idea into existence with such a limiting structure to work with! I?m going over shortly to read your new one! :) xoxo

Passion consumes me;
I am lost in an ocean
of sweet velvet caresses.
Perfect in syllable count and a perfect picture of love that's meant to be as God wanted it to be.
Good artwork. Best wishes in the contest.

Thank you so much! That?s exactly how I feel about it too! Passion that comes from the way God designed it not just because it?s a physical thing! Thank you for seeing it in that very beautiful way!

A very well-writen three-line poem about the passion between two lovers can consumes us like being lost in an ocean of sweet velvet caresses. We cannot resist a lover's attention.

Thank you for stopping in reading and your awesome comment. I believe this is the tender way God intended for love to be between a man and a woman.

Hello Diana
I admire your passionate soul. Love embraces every word of your poem. I feel the love from a distance spoken humbly with three lines. Thanks, for sharing your gift.

Whoa --that's steamy-hot!! I had to sit here and fan myself a moment before being able to write this review!! Great artwork you found to accompany it, too. This is going to do great things in the 3 Line Poetry Contest!! Good luck to you, you little minx! xo

A very romantic poem about your amorous relationship, with an appropriately passionate illustration. (I think you may have gilded the lily, by overreaching for that new adjective.)
Good luck in the contest, Diana!

I'm finding it can be harder to judge the shorter contests. I love this visual and thought it was hard to present the reader with a good image in only three lines. You did it excellently. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you so much! You are so right! this is my first attempt at trying to convey a message in only three lines. I admire the poets on this site that can come up with stuff in a heartbeat. LoL!
