I love this story, Yvette. You have written a poignant and then funny scenario. I am still smiling as I write. I wish you loads of luck in the contest.

YES! I wish more families were as dedicated and determined to keep their loved ones at home! So many studies show that those kept in their own home or the home of a relative have a longer survival rate and better quality of life! God bless you all!--Karenina

Now why do get the feeling that Paw-Paw didn't want the solubrious confines of the idyllic "Golden Acres", having good times with his Paw. Well done, Yvette, good luck, blessings Roy

This is well-written, descriptive, and delightful. I really love the ending,
the reassurance for PawPaw that he is very much WANTED there. I was moved by this piece.

Aha! Two tricksters, I see. I wonder what they did to deep six his chance of getting in. This is so cute. The little boy wanted his grandfather to stay.

Hi Honey! I have 83 reviews!!! LOL, This is wonderful!! I love it, what a feel-good story. I think it's great the way Mom may think that her dad wants to go to Golden Acres and maybe be with his own folk, but he'd rather be with his family. ;) This is just FAB :) :)

Soooooo.... are you unburying yourself yet? I remember a little over a week ago and when the review listing was over a hundred, I wanted to just walk away... LOL! :) But I didn't (although my fingers weren't happy about it!) and I'm so glad you enjoyed this one -- relationships that span the generations are priceless! :) ;) Keep on keepin' on and I look forward to seeing another Ashley Addition! :) ;) Have a great week ahead! ;) Yvette :)

Yvette,
hahahahaha! I liked this one. So many other stories of getting 'rid' of older ones are so sad and pitiful. I love the feelings behind this one. Super entry for the contest. Good luck!
