Hello! I see it has been several months since you have written a poem. I appreciate you writing poems from your heart. I read your poem, then read it again aloud. I like the rhyming format. I like the positive words. Words like peace, pray, heavenly, love and grace. These words humbly inspire the human spirit. God is there with you. Blessings!

Very nice - your poem has a smooth quality that is soothing. Sounds as if you had quite an interesting childhood, growing up with horses and a writer father. Good training I'm sure.

In my opinion, a beautiful poem, flawless in rhyming rhythm but for the 5th stanza, which could be smoother in its rhyming flow. For example, with your permission - just an example, not a suggestion or recommendation:
Sorry, but so often true,
Many, their whole lives through,
miss golden words without guile,
treasures of love to make them smile...
