Tina, I can do nothing but award this beautiful work a six. It is moving, it is emotive and incredibly inspirational. I have yet to try this form. I think I reviewed Gloria...s form and it too was stunning. Best wishes with the contest..

I entirely agree with the sentiments you have so beautifully expressed in this poem. My Mum died 50 years ago and I recall her so clearly still. Reading your poem just now is such a strange coincidence to me as I have just finished writing a poem in homage to my father. We developed a very close bond after mum died, and he has been dead too for over 20 years but I know I carry his imprint on my life very vividly.

Love links memories forever. Love is at the heart of all that is good and true, safe in God's love. We will be reunited I am sure too. I do like the thought that my folks are sitting around enjoying your mom's company.

Thank you Dolly! Yes she definitely was very very loving and very real, I just wish that I got to grow up a little bit and know her as a grown up, but God's plan is always best :-) thank you for this review and comments. I appreciate them so much :-)

I appreciate you taking the time to review my poem and for the compliments . It wasn't tough, in a way, because who can't say a million good things about their mom? The photo is my mom, about age 18. She died when I was 18 and I looked nothing like that, lol!
