First up congratulations on persisting with your dream. Your years of study prove the desire and I wish you well. It's so much like the effort we put in as writers. We must peservere. And I love the name sunnilicious. I hope to one day see that name heading the cast of a movie.

WOW! I had no idea that you are an actress--good for you! I think I might like to try some community theatre one of these days, but I have no formal training. (That could be interesting - LOL) This is a great poem and very well written.

Just one nit in your notes:

"I went back to college an earned a degree."

I think you meant "and earned a degree." (Kudos to you, by the way!)
