I take it this is to describe writer's block? One of the bane's of my existence! You did a good job writing this, in that it rhymed nicely. It was also well-written in that the rhyming matched up and the whole makes quite a lot of sense. Nice job!

Thanks, Joan. Just popping in for a bit. Very busy. Just got my poetry chapbook off to publisher, contributing regularly to an on line journal, and trying to keep my recovery blog up to date. All is well, hope the same is true for you.

I think many of us on FanStory (including yours) can relate to the Speaker here when words and/or Muse deserts us. She is teased by past achievements she finds difficult or impossible to duplicate. I like how she questions in the last four lines when that vacuum will end. Rod
