KISS...Keep It Short, Sire...and simple, and pay well. If you can squeeze in a bit of good writing, well, that's okay...but a cheap wheel gets no grease and excessive length is a millstone round the neck...by your note I see I am preaching to the choir...excellent post.

Very nicely done ! This is a very good entry for the quatrain poetry contest. Something other than the usual things people write about poems and that is why this is so unique. All the best in the contest. :)

This is a terrific post. I recently spent an hour or so looking through hundreds of postings with even a hint of kingdoms, dragons or brave men on magnificent steeds with swords drawn. Clearly the "fantasy" genre here is classified by something overly benign. Like your rainbows. I couldn't even find a write about a unicorn.
This being said your posting here is so very beautiful and well written. Your art selection is spot on. You relay the death of this genre on this site eloquently. A powerful contest entry. So very well done! Good luck in the vote.

I won't ignore it. I like it! This is really good, well thought out and presented well. I love the high adventure element of it. SCI-FI Fantasy is something I use to read a lot of. I enjoyed reading this well written offering. Well done and keep them coming!

I love this. It is very readable, and flows perfectly. I also love the premise, and that the queen is in charge instead of the king. I love those types of stories of heros, dragons, gallantry, honor, and glory. It is just perfect.

The repeated rhetorical questions add a sense of urgency to your frustration in not being able to find a site that caters for this kind of rousing tale. I liked this piece. It felt like it was a viking metal song in the middle of a symphony. But it really fit in. Good flow and the rhymes made the rhythm work. Nice job.
