This was an enjoyable read, unknown poet. The artwork you chose really enhanced the piece. I think you definitely captured the feeling of the first kiss. Nice job and good luck in the contest.

This is well written. You could easily win the contest if the reviewers are in a romantic mood at all. I love your image of breaths hopscotching on goose bumps. That's the line that ought to do it for you.
