This made me smile from the very beginning. Both the picture and the words remind me of my husband. In the summer he's never far from his swatter.

Hi, Melissa,
I hate wasps. I hate bees, and I hate flies. So, the mention of the fly-swatter and the motions just make me laugh. I'm not afraid of flies; I just hate them. However, wasps and bumblebees terrify me.
Thank you for giving me a giggle this morning as I imagined you swinging the swatter, and then hitting yourself when the dastardly thing lands on your head,

I like the rhythm and rhyme of this whimsical piece. It reads so well out loud. I have been busily, dizzily chasing a mosquito that my husband let in the house. Believe me that is worse.

My husband does this EVERY summer outside.

Oh my gosh he needs to be careful,so he doesn't get stung! I could be very painful and life altering. I am allergic to the and bees and it is not one bit pretty.

Oh this reminds me of my grandson when he was 2 ...running into the den to tell his daddy there was a waft in the chicken....ie a wasp in the kitchen. It was so cute and my son was completely serious and got the fly swatter and got rid of that waft

Oh this reminds me of my grandson when he was 2 ...running into the den to tell his daddy there was a waft in the chicken....ie a wasp in the kitchen. It was so cute and my son was completely serious and got the fly swatter and got rid of that waft
