Thank you so much, Carolyn. I think we're all in shock. A heart attack, I believe. But that's only my impression. I can't be sure. Ulla:)))

He always treated me kindly, and I think that sums up the essence of who he was.
A loving soul, who bore no ill-will to anyone that I'm aware of.
This is a beautiful memorial Ulla.
Blessings...

This was a good and heartfelt ode to Michael. I didn't make his acquaintance, but, I can tell that he made quite and impression on those on fanstory. Thanks for sharing this well written ode. Well done.

Ulla,
A nice offering to a wonderful man. I am so happy that you have figured out what to say. My tongue is still tied firmly around my head - still wrapped in shock, I believe. Thank you for sharing!

Quite a eulogy for a writer loved by all who knew him. I hadn't been here long enough to have become acquainted. I'm sorry for that. Everything I have heard about him, including this chapter, tells me I have missed out on someone special. Thank you for writing this and selecting a picture I would say displays his giving personality. Good job.

Hi, this is a nice tribute for your fellow poet. It flows nicely and has a charming sentiment. But I must say, it is typical of human nature that while he was alive, hardly anyone reviewed him. He has a dreadful ratio of reviews to views when I checked out his portfolio. 3 to 70 approx??? But isn't that typical. It is a crying shame that we don't value people while they're alive, so in the light of that information, what's all this wailing and gnashing of teeth really worth, I wonder? Maybe learn from this FACT.
But having said that, I am sorry for your loss, and I will keep my own opinion of the quality of his work to myself as of the dead and absent, nothing but good.

Thanks. This has nothing to do with quality of work. This has to do with the person he was, his fine character and what he did for Fanstory to improve the site. We are all here to learn, and that's what we help each other to do.This site is not about putting each other down. We're here to help each other to become better at our craft.. Please keep that in mind if you decide to become a full member. Ulla

So typical of human nature. I actually said I wasn't saying ANYTHING about the quality of work as I believe of the absent and dead, say nothing but good. What I did have a comment on, was the fact that hardly anyone reviewed his work when he was alive. A fact, go and have a look at the number of reads to reviews. This speaks for itself, but you just keep on fixating on the negative Ulla, and keep on misrepresenting. So typical.

AMEN and AMEN He surely will be missed... and I appreciate your wonderful tribute. Michael was one of my earliest contacts on FS and as he was for so many, he was also a great help to me. I look forward to seeing him again real soon in Glory as we also had our faith in common as well as a lot of other things.

An excellent tribute to a much loved and dearly departed member of fanstory, he seems to have helped a lot of members, although I've yet to see a male tribute. Mike's path and mine rarely intersected. But he's in a better place, he was a church member I recall, well done Ulla, blessings, Roy

Thanks a lot, Roy. I think I've seen a few male tributes, but I may be wrong. I've had a lot of male answers to this, all agreeing that he was a kind and giving person. Yes, come to think of it. Dean Kuch and Girrafmang have both written their tributes. All best. Ulla:))

Lovely tribute.
Mikey, you came to this site with a zest that was inspirational.
I think the word "inspirational" sums up Mikey's life more than anything.
