It was sudden to me, I don't know if others knew if he was sick or not, but he's a poet that certainly
had a big impact on a lot of us. Thanks for reading Dorothy,

He did indeed encourage everyone to expand their comfort zones. Mike was a most generous soul who improved the quality of others' writing through advice and example. He will be sorely missed.
