Very heartfelt tribute, Gloria. Michael always had that contagious enthusiasm and positivity. I found it hard not to smile when reading him,even if it was just a suggestion in the forum. He'll be missed. Hope all well with you.

Hi Gloria,
I wish I would have saved a six but almost everyone who wrote something that the first day, well I gave em all out. This was a beautiful and sentimental journey for both of you and I can see that you spent quite a bit of creative energy putting this out in the universe for Mike. I think it is very cool that you knew him very well. I knew him as a coach, both technical and creative, but not on the level that you did. I will say I respected him greatly. He helped me immensely. It has taken me a few days to regain my composure enough to read more. I think there will be a huge hole in Fan Story with his absence for sure. You really presented a beautiful poem and remembrance for and of him. I want to do a Threnody for him and I have been giving a lot of thought about what I want to add to the book. I am wondering if you knew what age he was turning a few weeks ago. I wanted to work it into what I have to say. I didn't think he was much older than me in chronological years, I just wanted to know the number to see if will work in a way of the rhyme - if not I understand. I thought we discussed it at one point, but my memory is so bad I cannot locate the message. I also want to use the nice Facebook photo and I am wondering if you think anyone would mind? Since you seem to have been the closest to him that I can tell. I thought I would check with you first. Any info you want to share would be great. I can even message you before I send with a mock-up as an embedded picture to see if you are okay with how I want to do it. Just let me know when you can. I have two projects taken front row tomorrow during the day and on Wednesday but by Thursday I should be ready to put something together or even late tomorrow night. I am in the Eastern time zone. So any input at all would be helpful. And again this is a stunning poem and entry tribute to Mike. Very beautiful! Fonda

What a sweet idea you have planned for your contribution to Mike's memorial tribute. I'm not sure his exact age, sixty something, so if you can make that number work in that would be awesome. In my opinion it's never a good idea to use a photograph without first obtaining permission from the person, so maybe if you can find a likeness or some piece of art that reminds you of Mike that is the best thing to do. I find sometimes abstract works well in these situations. I am excited to read what you do with your piece and I'm sure you will do a terrific job. You know him to perfection. Somehow, I think Mikey knows what we write. He no longer has a body to contain his soul. He is a spirit. A ghost-like me and a spirit can manifest anywhere because he is like a light.
I would give a dozen stars for this tribute, if possible. It is hard to write words for a passed loved one. Don't seem words can justify human or ghost emotions.
