Fun entry, writer. Nothing here not to like. The image was excellent and the perfect symbol to elevate your write. Your syllable count was on point. The concept of winter sunbeams was a glorious one. The entire presentation here is penned flawlessly and skill. Did you hear we are to have an early spring? Yay!!!
Great job and good luck in the contest.

Thank you, Janelle. I am so glad that you liked my poem. Unfortunately, in Birmingham, our groundhog says 6 more weeks of winter. Maybe we will get a few rays of winter sunshine.

Such an adorable dog really calls attention to your verse. Feeling the sun in your face makes any day seem better. A lovely little gem that pleases the senses and makes the muse smile. I really enjoyed this and wish you the best in the competition!

A lovely 5-7-5 poem! I love the first line, especially "winter sunbeams" because it is easy to forget that there can be warmth in the coldest of times. I also love the picture which compliments the poem quite well. Great job and good luck with the contest!

Thank you, Mark. It's honestly my favorite style as well. The longer poems are beautiful, but I like the succinct ones that say a lot in a few words. I am glad that you like my poem.

This was a delightful 5-7-5 creation. It conjured up a lovely image in my mind, and then I looked at the picture and liked it even more. Nice job.
