I'm enjoying reading these. So much so, I might have to add one, myself. Good for you on the teaching the bully some manners. I reckon the first one is the lie. You are very specific about the number of dogs, and given your bully story, I'd believe you were a bouncer. I think the speedway thing might be something you'd love to do.

Love the way your humour comes through in this, Linda! After that knockout blow, I totally believe you were a bouncer! Not too sure about the thirteen German Shepherds though - unless you were breeding them. The headmaster of one of my schools was my uncle - actually my father's cousin - sometimes a mixed blessing! LOL

I have enjoyed reading these quizzes and I have learned so much about other writers. Your sense-of-humor shines through in each of your answers. I like your feisty nature too. I wish we could go back to the days when a bully could be put in their place and be made to apologize. Hmmm...is your lie the race car?

I think number one is the lie. After reading what you got in trouble for I believe you were a bouncer. You seem like someone who would own 13 German Shepherds at one time. It was neat reading yours, check mine out.

Your answers are directly responsive to the questions and make good
use of specifics. Suggestion: Using full sentences throughout would give the
piece a better flow. This, of course, a mere opinion!

These little confessionals are interesting. You never can tell about people, is what I get out of it. I think the format is interesting, you could have gone a bit above the crowd by doing it as an interview with a reporter or something, make it come to life a bit more. But the gist in the colorful stories, and you had those, particularly the punching the football player in the face in high school. estory

Hi there,
Thank you so much for sharing things about yourself and allowing us to get to know you better.
I loved the story about your teaching bowling. I love to bowl, and when I was taking lessons, I improved my game so much. But now that I don't bowl as often, I stink.
I think the lie is about the German shepherds. Unless you were breeding them.

Very entertaining. You have a great sense of humour.
I'm not sure what the lie is in number 3... They all seem incredible! Maybe the last one?
I think there's a typo in this sentence: Well the good thing was. The principal of my high school was my aunt. (Well, the good thing was the principal...)
Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed the way you responded to this robyn corum quiz. I don't think you owned thirteen German Sheppards at the same time.

Hi Linda,
I enjoyed reading this post and getting to know a little bit more about you.
Number one -- really beautiful choice, and it also made me smile when you mentioned about making sure the gates would close behind you so you'd know it was permanent.
About the guy you punched, well done, lol. At least he apologised. Many bullies don't. I guess these days bullies are worse than they used to be. Again,I liked when you mentioned that you wished you'd have knocked him down.
The best thing about this piece is the honesty and the hint of humour you managed to blend in it.
Number 3. I'm guessing option 2 is the lie. My first instinct at first was to say option 1 was a lie, but then after reading number 4 answer -- Have you ever been in the newspaper ? If yes, What for? -- even though I don't know you personally, you sound like you used to enjoy sports. So ... option 2 is the lie.
Thank you for sharing!
