What a fun, well-written story about returning a Christmas gift, Yvonne. I enjoyed reading it. Your picture choice is perfect. I can just see PC attempting this action. But when caught in the act, like most kitties, they run. However, they may stop for a brief moment a look back at what they are running from. You gave your kitties great personalities with you great description. This reminds me of a kitty who is getting back at humans for dressing them up. It is a kind of 'I'll show you' attitude. Great work with the prompt. Your dialogue was fun to read with the banter between PC and Endeavor. It sounded much like 2 people discussing and that's what kitties do when they talk. Thanks for sharing. Jan

Thank you for this wonderful review! We know our kitties, don't we? They keep me laughing all the time. What they haven't done hasn't been thought of yet. LOL

Thank you very much. I'm glad if it gave you a chuckle. Happy New Year to you and yours.

LOL! Cute. I can just picture her dressed like a six-inch-tall woman. The store would call a photographer to record the event, and they'd get great publicity when the story appeared in the paper. :)

A very well-written story about the Christmas gift that is not accepted by the animals because they already have many of the same gifts and will really appreciate a different kind of Christmas gift.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY

Aw, that was precious, Yvonne. I could just imagine that going through the cats minds. They do have their own thoughts on things, My lovely cat had a mind of her own, if she didn't want or like it, you could do whatever you could to persuade her but to no avail. We really miss our cats, and I have now decided it's time to bring two more into our home and love. I really loved your little story, it has tripled my resolve to have more. Well done, my friend! :)) Sandra xxx

Thank you so much. A six from you means a LOT to me. I'm glad you're getting kittens to love. Mine keep me laughing all the time. It would be a dull day without them. I hope you have a wonderful New Year!

I think when the Animal Crackers club was started an idea of something like this was probably at the back of the perpetrator's mind. A story about animals that is so completely crackers it is totally unbelievable - butwait a minute! What if one of them could have reached the door handle? We will never Know.
This was delightful.

Wow! Thank you, Jim. I'm so happy you like it. PC's very smart. He knows the tab on the can opens it, but he can't get his paw under there. Heaven help me if he ever does. LOL. I know you have many stories about Paddy and Penny. Hopefully, you'll share them with us.

Excellent dialog only entry for the animal crackers club, and right to prompt, and I already started a story about a catnip mouse...great brains think alike, I suppose...

I wish I had six stars to give you. The story is great. The picture reminds me of my cat Ruby. She jumps up and can reach the door nob. She hangs on it until it opens.

I once had two cats conspiring to open the door. One was sitting on the tv advising the other one while the other one was trying to manipulate the doorknob. It was hilarious. Thank you for a great review, and for the wish of a six. Means a lot to me.

"We're going to add this *!@# mouse to the rest and forget it. Besides, I just realized . . . we can't reach the doorknob."
LOL LOL Very clever short story for your club, Yvonne
