Hello Bill
Very good. It must be difficult to get your point across in such a cramped space, but you have done well with this.
I don't thing walking the earth is the issue, it is the flying and driving and all of that frantic fossil-fuel shenanigans that is at the (congested) heart of the matter.
A good entry - one that lots of readers can relate to and support. I wish you well with this.

Hi Bill. This looks like a good entry for the contest. Unfortunately for the earth, it can't run away either. But she does battle back. With severe weather and fires. Fires and volcanoes spur fresh plant growth after a time. I lost a friend to the Camp Fire. Your poem is prophetic. We better take care of her or she will take care of us. So good message hear. Good message in this five line poem. It gives a warning about how we treat the Earth as we have no other place to live. Although there seems to be no end of people looking for real estate elsewhere in the galaxy.
