Well done Dear Dawn. Of course we don't know if one of the spectators around the Holy manger, was a a cat or not, maybe a dog or two, even a budgie. Beautifully and entertainingly written dear colleague. The narrative was your usual high class effort, and adds to your already illustrious poetic countenance. Well done, blessings, good luck, Roy

His Grayness
I found this work to be very rare and uncommon but deeply interesting in all dimensions. Very well presented indeed, and I appreciated and enjoyed it very much with sincere thanks to the author for a true delight! HIS GRAYNESS; Vance

What a great poem, bringing the cat to the manger, and pointing out all their good features. I've read that scientists don't really know how they purr, but I love hearing it. I don't have to know where it comes from. It comes from love. I like the rhythm of your poem, and the good rhyming. It must have been hard to fit felis silvestris in a poem. Good job.
