Good job, Craig, with your limerick for your word of the day. I enjoyed reading it. Good job with its style. The picture is a great pairing with your well-chosen words. I guess he was a gentlemen in looks only, right? Thanks for sharing. Jan

Well, apparently he only got four years jail when they caught up with him after numerous robberies. Partly for good behaviour in jail, and also because he never shot anyone, or robbed the stagecoach passengers, only the cargo. Personally, I don't think that makes him a saint, but I was surprised to read that little snippet. Many thanks, Craig

Your Limerick coneys the meaning of the word "dragsman" perfectly, Craig. "He used half the loot to buy a new suit" ... I can't help but wonder what he bought with the other half. :) Shoes maybe?
Thanks for teaching me another new word in a very fun way!
Cheers,
Connie

Hi, Craig,
I like this word. While I do not appreciate the actions of the dragsman, it just has a good feeling to it and its meaning. Here in the US, car-jackings are on the rise. I am always careful to have all doors locked. They usually get you while you are at a red light.
Thank you for sharing another good word,
~MP~

That's scary, Patty. I have to travel about 25 miles east or west to get to the nearest red light, so I feel reasonably safe. Well, at least from dragsmen, anyway. Cheers, Craig

A very well-written Limerick about the thieve that robs vehicles like to steal artwork and he have to use the money to buy him a nice suit to fit the part he was pretending to be.
