You've done a good job of building up the horror. The end was still a surprise, I was expecting something more traditional, like a monster leaping out. Yours is much more originally and makes the picture chosen suddenly seem very menacing!

Good

Great poem, I could imagine myself walking down a dark alleyway or street on a cold dreary night, looking all around as shadows play there games, your heart starts pounding, and your feet start moving faster, trying to get to safety. Could definitely feel this poem
