Comment from Gloria ....
Yikes this is definitely a pranka. Nothing worse than seeing those old lobsters with elastic banded claws sitting a bland tank in the super market.
That said, excellent write, Bill.

And their bodies as well. Oh Bill when you write it like this, I begin to feel whether I should ever enjoy shell fish again, but I've come to the conclusion that of course I should. Great 'pranka'. All best. Ulla:))

cuz we love their tasty tails.
Yes we do! Yummy. Too bad for them. If only they were tough and tasted awful.
Now I'm in the mood for Red Lobster. Mark? Wanna get a break from cooking on Friday?

You did a good job on this pranka, Bill. I like the rhyme, the picture, & the message. You always do a good job with your series of poems on one subject. I enjoy reading them. Thanks for sharing. Jan

These measure somewhere between the lobsters I'm used to here in Australia and the kingsize prawns our seas yield for our serving table's delight, yum. Well written and well said. Good job, blessings, Roy

Comment from His Grayness
Truly a delightful and well presented work with excellent photography and coloration. Brief indeed but very well done in all dimensions. I enjoyed this work very much and have no suggestions to improve it in any way. HIS GRAYNESS; Vance

Good evening to you, Bill
Poor things :(
Did you know that a lobster can live for a hundred and fifty years or more?
I can't eat them anymore. Out of guilt.
They do indeed sacrifice their lives in a most appealing way by being boiled alive! And we refer to ourselves as humankind? Grrrrrrrr...
Thanks for reminding me :)
I just that if I come back as anything, it isn't a chicken!
kind regards
tracey
