Ah, the painting is so much more than a painting and the relationship is so much more than Shana wants to admit.

I wondered about a comma after that. I have added it. The others are stupid errors. I knew better. I have edited this post for months and still overlooked them, DARN!!! Thank you for the catches. I really do appreciate it.

It seems Shana is slowly growing more comfortable with Drew. His brother needs lighten up with teasing her too. Fascinating information about the possibility of a chip being in/on the painting. Shana has good reason to worry, obviously saying she no longer wants the painting will not get the Russians to back off. Great j ob with this one, lots of important information. Good luck with starting back to school. I am sending positive thoughts in your direction... hope they help ease your concerns.

Easy question. She was afraid and wanted security, which Drew provides. If there are more bedrooms, drag another bed in. Cots are not comfortable. I wonder if geckos crawled on her... yuk!!! :)

Wonderful chapter. It makes sense about the painting. If there is some disc containing information the Russians want, they could very well feel they need to eliminate Shana because she might know too much. Poor Shana is usually the butt of humor from Zach. Now it's Shana's sleeping on the floor, when there might be geckos crawling about. Having the dogs there will help with security. Good move to bring them. Shana needs to lighten up, but hard to do when she's under so much pressure with threats being made. Excellent work. judi

I will make the changes and I appreciate the catches. As a rule in today's world it things like this don't happen, but that being said, I do know, first hand, situations where it does happen. I have had students at school who were brought up extremely fundamental, whether it be Jewish, Catholic, Baptist, or even Wiccan. I think the key word here fundamental.

It sure is and it is scary sometimes. A year ago, I had a child from a religious background that to be honest was almost scary. We've had a lot of children from that church and each year it gets worse and worse.
