I wasn?t conscious of directing this at my glorious leader. Maybe though.

This is a very interesting short poem about the Elephant man. You used very good informative words and very good imagery with the picture you chose. Blessings, Teri

This speaks about an Elephant Man who suffered Proteus syndrome under which a man can change his shape at his will, he was not God Proteus, he was not even an animal; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR

Hi Bill, I'm glad you went with the covered picture, very sensitive and chic. This poor gentleman that you've written about. I never knew that was what he had. I haven't got a clue that is but I'm going to google it. Sounds like a Greek God or something. I've seen the movie, but it kind of violated him too, in a way. I am glad you have written a poem for him. It's something good that you can do, for he had a b..ch of a life. A lot of emphasis with that NOT.
Good poem. Unusual subject matter and that equals more interest.
Thanks for this one, Bill, I appreciated it, Ana.

Thanks, Ana. I did begin with his actual image, but thought it a bit much to spring on an unsuspecting reader.

Poor guy.
So he wore this to ease his suffering. Why are we so cruel? Humanity needs humanity.
That would make Manatee man...called Hugh
I'm sorry I'm not right
Thanks for your poem and the reminder
God bless
