Hi, Carol. Goodness, you have been away for a bit haven't you? It seems that way to me. I do love your poem and wish I still had some sixes left for it.

Stanzas like this are so effective.

"I ran with you
through sacred vapors
listening as braids slapped
your sinewed back
and slap of feet swallowed miles
in loping flow."

Descriptive and a beautiful poem especially with the photo and the explanation. I was a runner in my earlier days and I loved exercising on trails a and parks. Great poem and keep writing poems,
