I like the line "Her church is nature blue". It shows the impact of nature and how nature can guide us. This is a wonderful faith based poem that captures another viewpoint on the world. I like how you express in words that this lady should be respected for her wisdom.

Very well done Kay, it has a wonderful rhyme pattern and is rather easy to read and to understand. Great picture. I really liked the way you presented Dolly's faith and culture. You did a great job making readers understand that to be different is to be okay and that one should not walk away or turn away just because they don't understand. Thanks for sharing.

A sky dancer - the name says it all, really. How much more in touch with the natural order of things are those whose beliefs are founded in the environment around them.

K, this is an excellent entry for the Faith Poetry contest. Each verse in perfect rhyme to tell a story of how loving the land and every living being is a better way of living - compared to the judging white man and his preconceptions. I especially enjoyed that this piece offers some insight into the indigenous race of Australia. A beautiful picture that extends the story in grace. Best of luck in the competition and enjoy the six shower : -) ~DD

You describe this lady Dolly and the way her beliefs have formed her character so well, Kay. I especially like the third stanza. Not sure about the widgidee grubs, though. I'd rather have chocolate. Great work. :) Nancy

This is an absolutely marvelous and beautiful entry for this contest. It tells a lovely story and also teaches those of us unfamiliar with Bahaime. This is a terrific entry for this contest and I sincerely wish you all the best.

Hello Aussie, this is great, I loved it, and being Australian, I can relate to this so much. She is indeed full of love and grace. Loved the first verse, such a good image for introducing Dolly. Beautiful writing and I saw no errors.
