Awe, Sandra, So it had a happy ending for Joe and for all the rest of them. Again a wonderful chapter, and so well written. That Mildred is a rascal. Now, I wonder what will happen next. Hugs from Massachusetts. Ulla xxx

I think this is a lovely story and I could feel the emotions of the characters as I read. I want to know the rest of the story so it definitely grabbed me I saw no grammatical errors or spelling errors. Job well done!

Comment from Meia (MESAYERS)
With a jolt, I found myself being scrutinized by Mildred.
'I'm back!' I laughed and reached out to take Mildred's hand. 'I know how it all ended for Joe's family and Francis.' She squeezed my hand and gave me a knowing look. 'I thought that might happen,' she said with a chuckle. 'Now you can tell me all about it over a nice cuppa tea....' There is such warmth and moving sentiments in your stories. I love your writing style and content and it is always a joy to read. Well done kindest regards Meia xx

A perfectly written conclusion to this episode of Veronica's interactions with Joe and his family, if indeed it is the end. I have a feeling a new adventure is in the wings.
I hope your brother is doing well now.

Thank you so much, Diane, for the lovely 6 stars!! There are four more parts, (2 chapters) to come which will tie up all the loose ends and leave an opening for the third book in the trilogy. I'll have a bit of a break between the two while I do some more editing of this one.
I just rang the hospital, Ian is delirious and keeps forgetting things that he's just done. I'm hoping it's all the drugs they have him on. I'll be seeing him later. Thanks for asking, that was so kind of you. Big hugs. Sandra xxx

I did not note any errors. You write in an even, conversational style that welcomes the reader in. I amwading in midstream but found I could suspend disbelief and simply enjoy the story...

I think that I am finally getting used to the accents and dialects in here, finally. That must be a good thing. As always, I like the way it reads, the way it flows, and the good news is that I haven't found any errors, yet. Thanks for sharing.

You will, or already are, a celebrity author, you are a most imaginative and perceptive writer, I explained to a new author, that a successful writer has a highly developed perception and intuition, and you have bucket loads of those gifts, as well as the obvious attributes. Congratulations my friend, until the next time, well done, blessings, Roy

'Oh, Lordy, Miss Veronica, I'm not a geri thingy, yet,' she moaned.
Hello Sandra, you have a knack for writing dialogue so you hear hit in your head. That is just one of many examples of it in your story. I always enjoy your work when I read it, your characters are easy to imagine and you have a lovely mix of showing through dialogue, and descriptors. Peppering your descriptions throughout, rather than the dollop approach, LOL
Thanks for being generous with your talent and sharing your writing, it is a work I'd recommend, Ana.
