Hi, Sandra;
I liked this chapter and the way you showed the brainstorming session between the three main characters. I think they are well matched for this chore and I like the plan they came up with. I also appreciate the fact Victoria acknowledges there are no guarantees when it comes to her time travel.
Looking forward to more,

Thank you, Patty. No, there aren't any guarantees, I'm the only one who knows if she'll go or not!! LOL. I'm glad you enjoyed this part, thanks, my friend. :) Sandra xx

Hi Sandra, this is another wonderful chapter. Mildred is again coming up trump, bless her. She seems to have the most level head of them all. As you know, I love the
story, and I can't wait for the continuation. A big hug from Spain. I'm moving into my home on Friday. So much is happening until then. Ulla xxxx

Hi, Sandra
I'm new to this novel, but I could still enjoy your plotting, the flow of your writing and excellent use of visuals and dialogue to further your story. This is really top-notch writing. I, personally, always find the list of characters in the author's notes helpful!

I'm glad you cleared that up because Tea is tea here in my house and Iced tea has been my drink of choice as long as I can remember. My families choice I should say. I do believe Mildred has come up with the solution. The only problem is the red eyes. I am really interested in how this will play out. Great job Sandra. xxx Nancy

It's funny because until I joined FS I didn't know that we were the only country that has a meal called 'tea time'. I think Australia might, and New Zealand, seeing as they do most things the way we do. It is a very 'proper' type of meal with the elite. Salmon and cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off, egg and cress... always with the crusts cut off. There would always be a three tiered cake stand with all sorts of yummy cakes on there, and then the pot of Earl Gray tea, or lemon tea. That is how the posh lot have tea. When I was a child, it was jam sandwiches, and biscuits. lol! Mum made loads of lovely cakes on a Saturday, her baking day, but they'd be all gone come Monday.
Yes, Mildred has come up with a good idea, now Veronica has to persuade Joe. Thank you so much, Nancy, for another lovely review. Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xxx

Hi Sandra,
I'm back to reading your story. I had a few other jobs to get done first, and they're done now. So it's time I finish reading your story and catching up to this chapter. My arthritis is acting up so this is a perfect time to snuggle in bed and read your story.
I enjoyed the home time with the kids and trying to figure out the next step in their plans. I'm always amazed how you think through the mysteries and make sense of them. You have terrific writing skills.

What a lovely thing to say, Joy, thank you so much. It's lovely that you enjoy reading my book, you say all the right things! LOL.
I'm sorry you suffer with arthritis, I do, too. I keep hoping there is going to be a magic pill that will cure it. :) Wouldn't that be something? Thanks again, my friend. Big hugs. Sandra xxxx

Looks like this will have to be a pretty elaborate plan. Will be interesting to see what happens in this scheme, Mildred brought up. Good chapter reinforcing the closeness of these 3 as friends too.

Nothing comes easy, does it? Veronica is often left frustrated by events that go against her. Thank you so much, Joanne for your lovely review. Lots to come! Big hugs, Sandra xxx

Having our main meals at lunch time and a light tea time in the early evening would eliminate all these weight problems and fad diets in America, or anywhere, and healthier people in general. Of course, I for one, have dinner three or four times a day with snacks in between. LOL! When I was more active it was never a problem, but as I slow down my habits must continue to change. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter. :-)

Hello,
:D I was right!
I found a typo and have a suggestion:
The hour leading up to the children's teatime was total bedlam, followed by fifteen minutes quiet as they ate (drank) their tea.
We all (maybe you don't need 'all')sat there looking so (maybe don't need 'so') pleased with ourselves.
Can't wait for the next. I can imagine a solution to the eyes, but I may be wrong. I'm not going to say, but I will let you know if it was correct. :P
Have a good week and weekend,
Nome

I really must put a note in my authors notes about tea. In England, 'tea-time', is a meal. The same as 'dinner- time' and 'breakfast'
It's only recently that we stopped having our main meal at midday, then we had tea between 4pm and 6pm. Now that more mother's are working, the main meal tends to be in the evening. Children who go to school and have school dinners at midday still come home and have their tea at about 5pm, consisting of a sandwich, cake and a drink, not necessarily a cup of tea, but mostly a cold drink. If you ever come to England and someone asks you what you want for tea, they are asking what you want to eat! lol. Confused??? Thank you, Rasmine, for your nice review. I will go and take out the 'all' and the 'so' from that sentence. I'm glad you enjoyed it, my friend. :) Sandra xxx

Okay, got it!
-
Okay!! TY, for letting me know. I was wondering how you eat tea; I know about tea in England, but wasn't sure what you meant.
-
Many readers didn't know, and I've been picked up about it before. When you are brought up with something that is different to other cultures, you don't realise it until someone points it out. :)) xx

This was a pretty long and we'll organized chapter. I liked the playfulness with Mildred, the well, the scene with the children, and finally the plan.
