What creepy looking small bugs to incite terror. They're not even poisonous like some snakes of spiders. Good picture to give an idea on how big they get. I scream whenever I see one.

That's what they live for.

This is a very interesting and well written poem about the cockroaches. You used very good words and very good imagery. Still don't like them! Blessings, Teri

I got to say, Bill. Do any of the reviewers see some of your work just a little eccentric? I really don't think anyone's subject is as offbeat as yours. I do not mean to offend. I'm just saying, my friend. You truly have a gift for the unconventional.

I try to please myself with odd things, Phillip. I'm not too good at spiritual, romance, or serious themes. I do those, but nowhere as good as others here. My niche will likely be the offbeat.

I have those same feelings, Bill. I'm not as productive at turning out lots of stories. Especially, since I've learned and understood more. Putting what I know into practice is the problem for me.

Okay, are you sure Dolly would appreciate this one? Lol.
I'm guessing you are forcing a rhyme with "Canary Islants" and so the misspelling is intentional? A single roach isn't bad - it's just when they come with all their relatives that it's very unwelcome.

Dolly asked for this one about these particular roaches. Yes I played with Islants, I should probably let people know. Yeh, roaches seldom go anywhere without a few thousand friends.

HaHaHa!... That sure does put a different light
on the subject!... I don't believe I'll be travelling to any
of those places any time soon (if at all)!...
Great poem, didn't come across any 'glitches' along the way...
My compliments!
