You were creative even back then! A heartwarming teenage girl's story filled with fantasy hopes. I've come to realize over the years that, we, are mistaken in our assumptions about people's diversive thinking is ABnormal. While I am compiling this book I've seen the side of people hidden away under a label. Thank you for sharing your talents with us

Hi, Trisha;
Thank you so much for the R&R, comments and wonderful six-star rating.
Eventually, we did meet, and we dated for quite some time. Knowing Patrick was one of the best and worst things in my life,
But for a few sweet weeks, it was the most lovely story...

Just love this story Patty, fifteen is certainly a very defining time in a youth's existence, for boys as well as girls, so your fanciful crush, I guess you still wonder what would have transpired if you'd have appeared at the window, I'll bet you have a curious memory of those days. Excellent story, well told patty, blessings, Roy

Oh, Patty. I loved this, for I have been through similar, not windows, but the simpler things that make love and its worth, so worth. I could feel every emotion. I saw hrough your eyes, true or false, the imagery and suspence was there...wanting more.
"After all these years, this is by far my favorite Valentine's Day memory. Yes, I've gotten cards, roses, and candy. But for one brief moment, I was the most important Valentine in a young man's life."
One little thing that I think could enhance.
Your final statement, nearly caused me concern, for I had to read it two or three times to see the angle, as it has too angles of approach...a double meaning. I saw yours eventually, but it could also look as though you could be saying; which you are not, that you were his most important Valentine ever...which you would not have known. I was thinking...hang on...can't be what she meant...then after a few reads, saw where you were coming from.
Yet, this is too good to have open statements. Two little words would leave no doubt for reflection or question;
"to myself,"
I hope you see where I am coming from.
After all these years, this is by far my favorite Valentine's Day memory. Yes, I've gotten cards, roses, and candy. But for one brief moment, to myself, I was the most important Valentine in a young man's life.
This has my six stars. Good luck.
My best wishes.

Hi, RG:
Thank you so much for your thorough and concise review. I did look at the last paragraph as you suggested, and I went and added those two words.
You were right - it added the correct perspective to the line.
The shining stars made my day,

I wonder if they ever took that walk. I think not, because this seems like only a moment in time. A rather sweet moment not meant to last.

A very well-written Valentine's story. When we are young we do things we will not do when.we get older. That is a super cool memory you created for yourself.

This was so sweet. I can just imagine his face when he saw the trouble you went to just for him.
Sometimes it is wonderful to dream and create romantic scenarios than to actually find them in real life

I love it! I could imagine it all taking place. I didn't notice any mistakes. It sounds so real. It's kind of disappointing that it says fiction. Awesome writing!

Hi, Natali;
As with most of my writing, it is based in some kind of truth. Eventually, we did meet, and we dated for quite some time. Knowing Patrick was one of the best and worst things in my life,
But for a few sweet weeks, it was the most lovely story...

What a lovely story Patty. It sounds like something any young girl might do. I'm sure you spent many hours dreaming about your prince charming. You left us in the air Patty. Did you ever hear from him again or did you just quit going out on the ledge to spy on him? LOL Nancy
