Thanks, Marilyn. They can grow to 1.4 inches near the ocean bottom.

Yes, I guess size is relative! Good use of assonance (be seen, be obscenely) and you had me wondering so I looked it up and yes, I think 5mm would be "obscenely" big for an amoeba!
