What a powerful essay, bringing up a lot of good points. There is a lot of pain, a lot of suffering in the world and with crime rates skyrocketing it all can get overwhelming, disheartening at times. Although it doesn't seem like it, I believe there are still a lot of good people in the world despite it all.

I believe both good and bad are resident in the same body. Human beings can be incredibly compassionste, (because it is a choice), or by necessity they can be conversely very evil. Either way it's still a choice. Our church have people who have been responsible for ministering to the homeless, and some, have done some marvellous missionary work overseas. I think all human beings are not far from homelessness, some more fortunate than others, we are all capable of sheer bad luck. But well done, you're right, writing is a form of self ministery, it puts your hopes and aspirations on paper, and helps as a form of self development and carthesis, well done, (you're fortunate in being articulate, some are not!) Well composed prose, well done, blessings, Roy
