Hi, Barbara;
Well, if nothing else, we are pretty sure the proffered receipt is a fake. So, the person they are dealing with isn't exactly above suspicion.

I'm quite anxious for them all to attend the party in pretty clothes,

    I need to the party to exist but won't spend a lot of time there. Thank you for the kind review.

Phew you are an accomplished and also prolific writer Barbara I love where you have taken this even if as you say it is light on action, it is a great chapter and I thoroughly enjoyed it as always. Well done and kind regards Meia xx

This is a super addition to your book. Your story is unfolding with your creative writing. I could see no reason for editing. Very entertaining with a cliff hanger so to speak. Hugs

Hi Barbara,

This instalment felt very short to me this time around. Moved swiftly and now proof the Russian is lying. Good stuff.

"Let's leave while Shana changes." They left. - you don't really need 'They left' here as this would be inferred.

drumroll can be one word.

re-examined needs the hyphen.

but they've archived all the artwork sold since 1970's - maybe since the 70's or the 1970's.

Hi, Barb

= Nothing like a new pretty dress and a little more mystery to add a great end hook.
= Great chapter. Look forward to the next one.

Cheers, J

I'm sure there are some people that are trying to correct the evil deals of the NAZI's thefts. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.

I am impressed with Anderson's ability to access any and all information he needs. I don't know about there not being enough action. Dealing with the Russian Mafia is scary stuff and they don't like being messed with. I am happy that Shana likes her dress and has accepted the pearls. Anderson obviously can afford it and Shana may need time to adjust to his lifestyle. Nice work with this one. I am looking forward learning what the lawyer will have to say.

Love that dress! You've left us wanting more again, Barbara, I can't wait to find out what the lawyer has to say. I also can't wait to find our Anderson's reaction when Shana steps out in that dress! A small error, below. Well done, my friend. :) Sandra xxx

I think Anderson's regard is more than meets the eye, as witnessed by the buying of a blue dress and pearls to go with the dress. The answer concerning the painting has come back negative, proving that Kuznetsov's receipt for the painting was a fraud, excellent story, Barbara, blessings, Roy
