Super job with your contest entry, Craig. Your iambic tetrameter is flawless, excellent rhymes. Your poem matches creation perfectly, and I especially got a chuckle from the walking cat fish. He looks quite pleased with himself as so he should be. Its one way to escape the dinner plate.

CD Richards, this is an excellent Faith Poetry contest entry. I love the rhyme and the story woven within. It is interesting and opinionated, descriptive and questioning. It allows the reader to reflect and enjoy and is different to the other obvious 'faith' poems on offer for the contest. For all of that and the picture that does not seem to fit but we all see things differently - I offload a six onto you. Thank you for writing and sharing. ~DD

Thank you for the lovely comments, DD. I'm not entirely happy with the picture - I couldn't really decide on an appropriate one, and just picked one that gives me a bit of a chuckle. I'm honoured by your generous six - very much appreciated :)

This is a sure winner. Love the sing/song flow and the excellent AABB rhyming scheme. It is lighthearted and a go with the flow ending. That is why it is called faith
