Good chapter, again mate. Keep them coming. I like real life stories as I think I have told you before. I am working on a new chapter of my biography re more recent times.

The plot thickens, but I like how it is coming together. I am still enthralled with this story. Many blessing Brett for a wonderful week ahead. Patricia

I like the title of this chapter, 'Whiskey Talking'.
Some say that one speaks the truth when they get alcohol in them.
The image shown supports the story. I wonder what kind of whiskey it was-- Jim Beam, Crown Royal or something else?
Thanks for sharing a part of your book.
Good luck with your future writing.

Dusty was a kind man to the boy and if he could turn his life around he was willing to try. So even if folks were against it he was all for it. Maybe it will be his day afterall

Great POV from the other one involved in the decision. I loved the way everyone said not but in his mind it 'was his mistake to make'.

A very well-written chapter. I is said that when something or someone is always on your mind without being able to let it go. It is definitely a sign to tell you to do something about it. It is good to read about Dusty's thoughts about the boy he cannot forget.

God works in mysterious ways his miracles to perform. Dusty has been touched by the plight of a young boy and wants to help.It is hard for his friends to understand because he has always doted on his freedom. I think help is on the way Brett. Good job. Nancy

This speaks the effect of whiskey talking and how people would take it for a decisive action, no one cares, everyone knows Dusty West was making a mistake, but all need resolution; I liked.
