The best father you ever had showed you the least attention. Did I get that right? You certainly had a difficult childhood. I remember your book Mikey and I enjoyed reading it. I don't know anything about script writing but can add thus offering had very good imagery. Nancy

I enjoyed reading your post. Did you write something similar to this before? My memory, which often plays tricks on me, seems to remember something.
If I would have wanted brats I would've had brats. (comma needed after the first brats)

A very well-written script and a heartbreaking story. A father figure is not always the best example for a child if the father figure is not interested to be a father figure for a child. Sometimes it cause more damage than good.

I really love this. I think this story is a great reflection that talks about the importance of having a father in your life, no matter what. I don't know where I would be if I didn't have my beloved father in my life. Good job and great work! Five stars! Though I do wish I can rate you more than that...

Michael; this is a sad little tale that is all too often the reality for children of a single Mom. Your mother may have been crazy, but she did love you and honestly thought you needed a father-figure. She simply didn't know how to pick one.
Your script read true to life, and I can't say I enjoyed the story, but the writing was sound.
