What I read, I liked. I wish now I'd have read the earlier acts. Michael is kind of a leaf in the wind--as I guess we all are, though some bluster through their blundering and appear to have it all together. Odd, or maybe not so odd, the spirit that meets him through the door, sees him more as he idealized himself to be, but never felt he lived up to. Ain't it grand the spirits look into the heart and ignore our actions. There may be hope for us yet, Mikey.
Just as an FYI, stage directions are supposed to be in the present tense. You have some of them present, but most are in the past tense.

Ahhh, so that's your epitaph then: Failure? You didn't do a damn thing? You didn't grow? You amounted to nothing?
That's what my mother says. Actually, she says I didn't amount to anything but it's the same meaning.

So, what have you learned about yourself through this writing? Seems to be very introspective to me...a journey.
Some notes:
1.) We continue now as a scenario (h)as just concluded.
--> in your synopsis
2.) (Whatever) I should've acquired would still be there, left behind anyway.
3.) So, what good would it have been anyway(?)

Michael, this has been so original and entertaining. I have caught a great deal of philosophy and spiritual thought woven throughout this. It really is subtle and deep. I had no idea how you might end this. Soaring and beautifully uplifting works for me. NG
