Yes change is quite a journey, some of us are not so happy to make. Where we are may be painful or just unsatisfying, but for whatever reason we feel unable or afraid to change things. Once we reach the point of truly desiring the transition, our metamorphosis can begin. Very well done... Christy

Thank you, Christy.
I've heard it said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. When I get to that point, and my life is a total mess, I'm ready for change!
I appreciate your sensitive review, my friend.

I just love these clarity poems and would love to see them somehow incorporated into a whole book of them.
They always seem to be quite profound and leave sage thoughts resonating with the reader.
This is no different. Inspiration provides an altered state of mind offering new opportunities and passions and a personal realisation that absolutely anything you put your mind to is possible.
LOVED this. WISH I had a sixer left but I think I may have hurled you one this week, not sure. Anyway, this is awesome and very thoughtfully constructed and delivered.
I was particularly taken with the closer. Awesome job mate!
Cheers P
PS You have some gobbledygook at the bottom of your notes. I think a cut and paste issue?

Hey, P!
Thanks for the uplifting review, yes, you did toss me a sixer this week already, and I thank you. I'm really happy that you enjoyed this poem. Many people don't enjoy Clarity Poems for some reason, but I hadn't seen one done in years so I thought I give one a whirl. I was successful because I reached you with it.
Cheers back atcha

(let me look at the notes, thanks for the heads-up)

I've read this one three time. A nice way to look a life. I am assuming it is about life. We change into something more desirable then before. I love how you didn't add a picture. It makes the reading think more about what this poem says. Thank you again for another great share. As always, it's been a pleasure to read another one of your works.

This is a very interesting piece and another form I am not familiar with. This time I did dissect it and it was perfectly done. "Personal Metamorphisis" was an excellent line.

Thank you, Barb! I'm glad that you did a check-up on me...that's to keep me in line in case I screw up which I do often lol. I'm glad you didn't find any errors, though. Yes, I liked the "personal metamorphosis" line - I couldn't believe it came out to the right syllable count so I could use it!
Love,
Jeni *smile*
Comment from Irish Rain
It's all about the focus, we will become, and attract, the essence of our focus. This is lovely, a 'personal metamorphosis' evolving from altered focus...blessings...

This poem is very enlightening. In order for us to grow, there must be change, without change, no metamorphosis.
A lot of wisdom here, well done

Thank you, Lu. I don't know about wisdom, but it's something that was put into my heart to write. I'm often just given words and I must use them.
Always,
jeni
