This is an amazing haiku suite. Your first haiku, "late winter snow" alluding to late years of life and where we all dread to be when we reach that age. "her white roots show" literally and figuratively
Your second haiku is indicative of truly fragile we are at that age but really, the experience and wisdom make the elderly worth their weight in gold. So beautiful
Your third haiku, "cloudy blue sky reflects on sad eyes-" so many elderly left to die alone and lonely. "dusty empty-nest" says it all really, lonely and alone at the end.
Very beautiful, descriptive and invokes a great deal of emotion in me.

Hello, Lura, we missed you at the meeting. Your soothing voice, gentle spirit, and brave heart was missed. Douglas told us your computer is not working properly. We got a lot done but it was all business and no fun. :/

I missed t meeting too. I am on my iPhone right now but will only be able to do this for so long. They have kept my computer and I am really hoping I get it back Thursday afternoon.
BTW your haiku was so touching and moving, it was worth more than 6, a badger 9!

This is a superb haiku suite. I love each one separately but together you paint a powerful picture. Marvelous work with this one and I a so sorry but I am already out of 6's and this one most definitely deserves one.

This is a beautifully executed haiku suite. The rules of form are followed to the letter. The content is both moving and inspiring. Each of these stands on its own wonderfully, but together create a powerful package. Nicely done and I thank you very much for sharing it.

Hi GBR,
this is a nice suite of haiku reflecting on the how nature can effect the human form. I suppose that there is a damaging side to nature and it's elements that we don't think about. It is hard to see through all the beauty.

This stunning haiku suite certainly fits the bill.
It really isn't necessary for me to break each of three down for you. You're already obviously well aware of what makes a haiku a great spiritual and enlightening experience.
Suffice it to say that I feel this is surely one of your very best, both in poetry and presentation, and let's leave it at that.
