Beautiful poem. The words combined easily forming the message of the poem for the reader. The music captures you and you can almost see the woman in the painting come alive dancing in a great hall or in front of a fire in a camp at night under the stars.

OH so true, When I think of Spanish pieces, I think of the dance and the fervor that is so hot blooded and so passionate. This is an excellent haiku as I expect from you. I don't review many haiku, but since you have that class and club, I have read many I could not pass by

Wow!
This is quite powerful and beautifully well written, dear Gypsy. I truly loved the image you selected, not to mention the way in which you've presented your poetic words of passionate gratitude. It's that pure, unbridled passion for your art that makes you as special as you are.
The music...whoa, it was powerfully lovely as well...
Here's hoping you have a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year in 2017.
All the best!
~Dean :)

Lovely poem and lovely presentation, MariVal. I also hope you have a great new year.
I have a question: do you feel more Spanish (hot Spanish passion) or American?
Thanks for sharing.

Hello, Maria Jose,
That is hard to answer. I was 16 years old when I moved to the United States so I feel like an American but Spanish blood runs through my veins. I feel both. If that makes any sense. They are both beautiful countries and I am very lucky to have duo citizenship to two of the best countries in the world.
Thank you, my friend,
MariVal

Hi Gypsy,
Your poem was written very well and I enjoyed reading it.
The pictures you've put up with your poetry is very nice too.
I also liked what you wrote to a person whom you consider as part of your family, but who is it?

Just a minute, I'll put on my dark glasses. Phew! That's better!
F and V alliteration give this some interesting sound effects, especially the slant rhyme on river/fervor. Tying it in to the title, it suggests blood-lines. It has lots of energy, echoed in the passion of the satori.
