Excellent

Well we are presented with a problem and that is always a good place for a plot. Chase needs to find a place for the bone.
This story is meant for children so keeping it short was a good idea.
Now to add intrigue you could expand and give a couple of examples why Mum wouldn't want Chase to bury the bone there. Then maybe we can understand why he chose the hole he did.
Cute story.
