A while back I wrote in my cat. I figured Whiskers could do just as good a job as anybody running. Of course, she didn't have the proper paper work and her background was questionable. She was a stray who showed up on our doorstep, pregnant. LOL I enjoyed reading your post.

Oh my laugh for the day and I really needed that.
Excellently written as a truly interesting character for President but I do think he would be better than Goody we have now

You make these characters come alive and that is without the benefit of pre knowledge of the relevant cartoons. This is only the second dog in all these animal stories that has had the balls to cock a leg on FanStory. Mine was the first. And none has managed the ultimat doggie thing and sniffed another's butt. I thought you were a stickler for reality too, Mikey.

Hi Mikey,
this was so funny. You do have a way of putting a good idea to paper.
This was very entertaining, a chuckle in every paragraph.
"I plan to fly cargo jets over all the war zones of the world and drop millions of joints on all the soldiers along with a suitable number of Bic lighters. That along with Louie Armstrong's 'Wonderful World' playing worldwide is the recipe for peace."
I especially liked this paragraph, I think you should run for president in 2020, sounds like you already have a plan. lol.
Funny all the way through.

He is 'stewpid' indeed, but your text is very funny. Dropping joints on the soldiers will solve all war conflicts indeed!
Let's hope 2020 brings something a bit better than this...
Thanks for sharing.

What a fun story. I think elections are boring, frustrating, or maddening, depending on who's running.
An election like this one would be fun. LOL.
This was a fun challenge, wasn't it? 8-)

At this stage, any change will be an improvement all over the world. Maybe the cartoon world will do an excellent job to turn the world back on course away from a definite collusion. Lol.

Hello,
This is funny LoL and it's totally possible. After Trump, anybody will be the better choice. Every time I watch the news that thing they call president is doing and saying something worse than the day before. When will all stop?
Your potlatch entry is hilarious and smart.
Good job,
Gypsy

We are on the same page for sure, Gypsy
Brian would be a huge improvement over the current choice.
This was fun to write, glad you enjoyed it. Mike

Verrry good. Brian was a great choice for this. Love this line: Ask not what your country can do for you, we're broke!
But change the comma to an mdash or a semi-colon:
Ask not what your country can do for youâ??â??we're broke!
Ask not what your country can do for you; we're broke!
One context error really stuck out. As Earth warms, the ice caps melt and ocean levels RISE, not fall. So your cities beneath the sea would just be covered with MORE water, and would not appear. That could only happen in an ice age.

Would you believe I majored in LOGIC? LOL.
This is why I try and find friends who actually use their minds. Well, I made it considerably worse now. So, hopefully, it's funnier if even less sensible. I added the mdash. I see, "we're broke!" is a complete sentence, yes?
Glad you liked this. A crazy topic for the end of the year, but I'm so surprised and impressed at the fun and entertaining responses. Good job by all. Thanks so much. mikey

I made the mdash with keyboard shortcut but it doesn't work in these reply boxes. Does it work if I type in the html? Testing ;mdash

Oops... wrong symbol. Try again &mdash
-
Nope. Can't do it here. Crappy software!
-
Okay, one last try.
-
Yay! This is really old software, so you have to use the number 151. Start with , and then add the number, and end with a semi-colon. Hope I remember that next time. :)
