That is a lot to remember when trying to write a poem. It sounds very complicated. the poem is well written, your words combined nicely line to line and formed the message of the poem for the reader well.

I should have read the notes first before the poem. LOL. Ah! this is fantastic. After reading your notes, I read it again, in a fast way, and like you said, pausing only to breathe, and I loved it. Wonderful, amazing. I have never read a BLITZ or seen any sample of it until now. I really enjoyed it and read it again and again. Thanks for this one. An interesting and enjoyable read. Thanks for sharing. All the best.

Well, I'll be darned. In my entire time aboard here, I have never heard of or seen a BLITZ poem. It is really amazing the way it continues subjects from one line to the next ...especially reading it fast . It's really fun. LOL...Bless you for sharing, Jeni. Bob

I'm rating this poem based on the description of what a "blitz" poem is supposed to be. You seem to have gotten a hold on the form. But I can clearly see, I wouldn't wish to write like this... too many brief, if not abstract lines. This poem is titled "Inside a Teardrop" but it could have been titled perhaps a dozen or more different things. Too many abbreviated thoughts and expressions tend to prevent the work from clearly representing the title or theme. These are just my thoughts about the "blitz" form, not your poem specifically.

I guess it's a good thing that there are so many types of poetry, isn't it? Then we can pick and choose from the styles we like. Thanks for taking the time to read this one and let me have your feelings on it. I can agree, actually, with many points you make!

You are right. Each poet has their favorite forms and their disliked forms. I generally keep away from Haiku, Senryu, or poems of 17 syllables or less - not enough syllables and words available for a poet to express himself.
