Hi Steve
I must have been away when you wrote your previous ones. Or else it is a touch of mature moments. I enjoyed reading about the fairy tale wedding. a pleasure to read.
Well done

Thanks, Mary. I have no idea how you missed the previous ones. Of course, if you'd like to re-live the fun, you just have to backtrack through the chapter numbers from this one...

I know steve I can do that, but I have so many reviews I must keep up with and now they are mostly story writers. But I will always read your new ones. Mary

Thank you! My wife has already suggested that babies would be next - but then, she doesn't have to write the darn things!
Thanks for the kind words and the Sixer. Yes, that's exactly the flavours I've tried to instil in all of the Gobbledegooks poems...

I was ready to write the review and then my son called. We skype on Sunday afternoons. I reread your contest entry and enjoyed reading it even more the second time. I wish you luck with the contest.

I enjoyed this immensely. What a delightful and fun story in a poem. I thought it flowed smoothly from beginning to end and I just love the dragon sizzling the roasts. Excellent work with this and I wish you all the best in the contest too.

This is a delightful fantasy story. I enjoyed every line of it. So many different words are skillfully woven into rhyme and meter. I can easily imagine this as a beautifully illustrated children's book.

Thank you very much for the kind words and the Sixer.
Yes, I can easily imagine the whole series of picture books, and I know just how the illustrations should look. If only I could find a publisher who shares my vision!

This is absolutely splendid. I was so taken with this that I immediately read the rest of the series an loved them all. I apologize for not reviewing them all but looking at the number of reviews they have already attracted it is not that any are needed as these wonderful poems have attracted all the accolades available.
If I was stil the school librarian, a post I held at one time when I was teaching i would buy these immediately. These must be published.

Thanks, Gynt. I certainly respect your opinion, so the high praise is very much appreciated.
I would like nothing more than to get these published as a series of colourful children's picture books. I can visualise just the sort of crazy illustrations that would suit - and what a challenge it would be for an illustrator to live up to the words!
I did send one off to a publisher, but they felt the language was too difficult for a picture-book age group. I obviously need to find a publisher who sees them as I do and shares the passion. Now that I've mentally marked the series as complete, I may pursue publication more vigorously.
Thanks again.
Steve
