I have to tell you that earlier today I ran across something else you wrote, read it and skipped reviewing it. The reason is that I could not understand a word you are saying. I'm blaming not you, but myself. I'm afraid I am not even worthy of reading what you write.

So I am going to just go with my gut and instead of interpret, go by feeling the words bring me.

"calm in the storm comes thundering, lightning captured and slow" I think these words are all passionate and the stanza that comes next "in the blink of an I, hunger again" tells me maybe that it is what it is about. Passion.

"Lightning captured and slow, calm the storm came...thundering" the words are beautiful and maybe refer back to passion that is missing and the thundering is the anger or angst at its calm.

Okay, so I'm not a poet. But I find the words superb.

A very well-written poem. God make men and woman to help each other in many ways. The woman is the one who God chosen to give birth to children

Damn, Michael! What a provocative picture and poem! This is uniquely done and excellent, my brilliant friend. The interjection used to shift thought is absolutely stunning and more-so considering the affect the picture has upon the male viewer, me! LOL I say again, brilliant my friend and powerful on many levels. I'll just left it at that. Great work. Bruce.
