The word river and the image of it stirs feelings of different kinds for different people. It can be a metaphor in many ways. You have interrupted as examples of your faith. The rhyme and meter work to carry your theme from beginning to end,

-How you write so beautifully that is so enriched with personalism and not just for yourself but for all others which makes this poem even more graciously gratifying.
How you spiritually affected me and enlighten me with the simply powerful words of the Lord as writing through your own hand and in creating a marvelous surrounding sincerity of contentment. Through metaphors you created an imagery that is so vividly and distinctly descriptive and express them so well through the rivers of life in the mirror our souls. How you made the Lord's love so real by captivating the reality of His touch especially when we come to our final days.
-Though some of your lines are not rhythmically perfect your poem read so smoothly throughout because of your cadence and timing which enriches the reading of your writing and this is also due to your excellent writing technique that helps the flowing of your writing smoothly readable throughout your writing.
-You even used a very supportive picture for your poem that makes reading your poem so relative because of the picture.
